| Hey guys, I have an intermittent smoking issue, hoping I can get some advice on it. Just recently I installed new Nismo 555's and a Z1 tune w/ boost jets, all my other mods are standard and wouldn't relate to this issue. This morning I started the Z and left it running for about 5 minutes, the car started up fine and smooth and seemed to back down to a rough idle at about 920 RPM's and was getting fuelish smelling white smoke out of the tail pipe. As I got out of the driveway and went down the road the smoke subsided until I hit the stop sign and while stopping white smoke was coming out of the pipes. I went down the road and kept my foot on the gas to keep the idle right above 1025 RPM's which seemed to eliminate the smoke issue and keep the engine running smoothly. Once I let off the gas the car reverts to a rougher idle and wants to smoke. Any touch of the gas will get rid of the smoke, even if it's just putting my foot on the pedal with no pressure. Could this be related to an oil sending unit or anything? I just changed my oil a few days ago but I was having the same issue before I changed it. I'm at a loss here and getting very frustrated. PCV's? Turbo seals? Any advice is more than appreciated.
